Are hanwag boots any good. Having some trouble finding a really decent pair of paragliding boots that are light and protect my ankles. Only weighing in at 188 ounces it is much lighter than most hiking boots on the market making it an extremely comfortable option for hitting those trails. Here we have the Hanwag Friction GTX.

If you had bought their leather boots you may have a better opinion. They are double-stitched padded and use the best materials and technologies.
